We also recommend trying the potato sides and Brussels sprouts--everything was absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the location is stunning. In the evening, the view of the city lights is breathtaking, and the interior is colorful and interesting. It's great to see that they care about the environment, using eco-friendly cups--even some made from recycled milk cartons. The experience was not only tasty but also fun and visually delightful. “ This place serves tasty food. Get the skillet-roasted cheese bread. The cheese bread sits on a hot plate of melted cheese with chorizo spices. It's incredible. The calamari fritti was cooked perfectly. It was light, crunchy, and flavorful. The Caesar salad was good enough. The hot-iron skillet-roasted crab and mussels was the showstopper. Their seafood seasonings are exceptional. For dessert, do order the salted caramel vanilla crunch cake. You will inhale it so fast that you have to order another. ”

Visited for two occasions - a large party family celebration for my grandma's birthday, then a recent lunch date with my fiancé after a morning at Muir Woods. Parking is plenty. Fun experience dining next to the water on a warf. Definitely will come back to try more seafood and their steaks. Here's a breakdown from my last visit - Blueberry Mojito - 4/5 - Refreshing, great taste. Subtle blueberry notes. Couldn't taste the alcohol but definitely relaxed me. Crab Chowder - 5/5 - Creamy and flavorful. Not too salty. Good amount of fresh crab chunks. Added all the crackers they provided and the added texture was immaculate. Skillet Roasted Cheese Bread - 5/5 - An amazing presentation with matching flavor. The bread was soft and fresh with melted crusted cheese in the outside. Surrounded by a pool of chorizo cheese sauce, reminiscent of a queso fundido. Had an addicting rosemary aftertaste. Crab Melt w. Potalitos - 4/5 - Crab was very well seasoned with a kick from the horsradish vinaigrette. Big portion. Bread was harder than the cheese bread. Cheese was not as thoroughly melted. Potatos were seasoned well, soft, and addicting. Crab Enchiladas - 5/5 - This was my favorite dish. Steaming hot served on a skillet. Two enchiladas packed with crab, cheese, and green onions. Enchilada sauce was great, not too acidic. Each bit was very savory with a cheese pull. ”

“ Celebrating a friend's birthday, she chose this longstanding Sausalito restaurant by the bay with an ocean view. The crab feast was plentiful, shrimp tasted divine, and mussels were well cooked but less of a standout. The kettle bread is a must, as it goes well with the melted garlic butter. The chowder is very tasty and not too salty. Service was professional and attentive, but not intrusive. Great place to celebrate with seafood lovers! ”

“ Food: We ordered the sea bass, which comes drizzled with sizzling sun-dried tomato butter paprika sauce and fluffy couscous with carrots and peppers. Both the fish and couscous were quite flavorful without being oily. I really enjoyed this dish. We also ordered the fish & chips with potatolitos, a fried rendition of skillet potatoes. While the chips were a little too overdone for my liking, the fish was fresh and tender underneath the thick crispy breading. Service: Attentive Ambiance: A beautiful open-air view of the water with plenty of seating. Tip: come at an odd hour to enjoy a peaceful spot with a nice waterside view. We came here around 3pm on a Wednesday and there was hardly anyone there, but it filled up closer to dinner time. ”

“ We brought some good friends to introduce them to Salito's. We ordered some dishes, and our friends graciously shared their 2 set dinners. One Prime Rib Dinner and one Crab Dinner $59.99 each. The dinner includes kettle bread for the table. It came with a regular cut portion of Prime Rib. Very tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The bread has a crunchy exterior, but a moist and soft inside. *Caesar or Blue Cheese Wedge Salad. We got to try both as they chose one each. Both salads were different and delicious. *potatolitos: fried dutch creamer potatoes (4/5). Very time consuming to make but very crispy on the outside but soft and creamy on the inside! *Dessert Chocolate Twosome: a delicious genoise covered with a dark chocolate mousse and a milk chocolate mousse (4/5). Decadent, creamy, and perfectly sweet. HOT KILLER DUNGENESS CRAB (WHOLE CRAB 2lbs) in their secret garlic sauce (4.5/5). Fresh and meaty, and the sauce was so delicious. Sand Dabs Doré: capers, fresh lemon (4/5). Served with roasted vegetables and couscous. Flakey, tender fish in a browned butter sauce. This was very good. I am glad we tried this. Michael waited on us and was friendly, attentive, and provided great service. It was such a great time to hang out with friends and enjoy dinner on the marina or close to the water. We've only been here a couple of times, but everything we have tried is very good. Come and check them out!!! ”
